DermaMedics topical rehydrating emulsion
What is DermaMedics’ Topical Rehydrating Emulsion?
Topical Rehydrating Emulsion has been specifically formulated to re-hydrate the skin and to replenish lost oils needed to aid in skin repair. Use of any acne treatment products can remove essential moisture from the skin and damage the skin\'s protective barrier. This results in the skin becoming dry and inflamed. Complexion Repair Topical Rehydrating Emulsion contains Therosol®, a proprietary and patent-pending ingredient with known antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-aging properties. Therosol® has been shown in clinical studies to calm and soothe skin and to also reduce the appearance of redness caused by a variety of skin disorders, including rosacea, eczema and other forms of dermatitis. Therosol® has also been clinically proven to improve skin dryness and texture over a four week period. In laboratory research studies on cultured human skin and immune cells, Therosol® has been shown to block the production of inflammatory hormones that cause vasodilation, irritation and skin damage, including the breakdown of collagen and elastin in the dermis.
What is Topical Rehydrating Emulsion used for?
To ensure that the skin is not being dried out by the use of salicylic acid, Topical Rehydrating Emulsion should be used hydrate the skin. Re-moisturizing the skin with the Topical Rehydrating Lotion will help prevent the appearance of facial redness, which often occurs with acne treatment products. It provides the correct moisturizing environment the skin’s barrier needs to repair itself. It is gentle enough to use on delicate acne-prone skin without causing irritation. This emulsion is designed to complement the use of the Complexion Repair Acne Treatment Serum.
How do I use Topical Rehydrating Emulsion?
After cleansing skin with Complexion Repair Foaming Cleanser, apply Topical Rehydrating Emulsion evenly to all affected areas of the skin. Because Topical Rehydrating Emulsion is a strong product, you may experience mild tingling or stinging when first applied. This will subside in a minute or two. For best results, it should be used at least once a day alternating morning/evening with the Acne Treatment Serum. If using in combination with any other product, allow the first product to fully absorb before applying the other. As with any product, if irritation develops discontinue use.

No Sunscreen
Topical Rehydrating Emulsion does not contain any sunscreen. Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, and Cetearyl Alcohol
These non-irritating emulsifiers allow the oil and water phases of the lotion to mix evenly and form a stable emulsion. They are also emollients and moisturizers.
