Fuller Sun Guard is a moisturizing sunscreen that contains 4 sunscreen ingredients that provide both UVA and UVB protection from the sun's damaging rays. DermaMedics sunscreen is formulated to provide an SPF of 30, which blocks 97% of UVB rays. Since an SPF of 50 only blocks 1% more ( 98% of UVB rays), the exposure of skin to the additional sunscreen chemicals in an SPF 50 product is neither necesssary nor recommended.  Sunscreens should be applied before going out into the sun AND every 2 hours regardless of the SPF rating.  Fuller Sun Guard comes with a handy carabiner for attaching the product to beach bag. backpack, etc.
