FOR SKIN THAT HAS HAD TOO MUCH SUN, DermaMedics has two "after-sun" products that are a must if you want relief from a painful sunburn and you want your skin to recover and be ready for another day in the sun! 

DERMARAD RELIEF TOPICAL REHYDRATING EMULSION was originally designed to moisturize, soothe and protect the skin of cancer patients going through radiation therapy. Radiation treatments can leave skin with a sunburn-like burn, and DermaRad Relief was developed specifically to address the unique skin care problems radiation patients face. Since sunburned skin is similar to a radiation burn, DermaRad Relief Topical Rehydrating Emulsion is highly effective as an "after-sun" lotion to apply to skin that has had a little too much sun. This extremely hydrating and moisturizing lotion will rapidly soothe, soften, and calm skin. DermaRad Relief also contains DermaMedics' patented antioxidant, Therosol, which has been clinically shown to improve skin texture and reduce the appearance of redness. So if your skin has had a little too much sun, apply DermaRad Relief Topical Rehydrating Emulsion in the evening and wake up the next day ready for another day of "fun in the sun".  

DERMARAD POST-RADIATION SOOTHING SKIN SERUM has been specifically designed for skin that is BADLY SUNBURNED and painful to the touch.  This product is a unique, silicone-based serum that is extremely gentle to skin.The product contains no emulsifiers (unlike all lotions and creams) that can sting badly when applied to sunburned skin. DermaRad Post-Radiation Soothing Skin Serum will glide onto the skin with NO rubbing and within minutes will soothe, moisturize and help reduce the appearance of redness. 

TWO STEP PROCEDURE FOR SUNBURNED SKIN. If you have developed a bad sunburn, after applying the POST-RADIATION SOOTHING SKIN SERUM and allowing it to absorb into the skin to soothe and moisturize, DERMARAD RELIEF TOPICAL REHYDRATING EMULSION can then be applied to the same burned area to provide high levels of moisturization to reverse the dehydration and loss of natural oils caused by hours in the sun.  We recommend applying these products every 4 hours for maximum relief and moisturization. 

 DERMARAD RELIEF TOPICAL REHYDRATING EMULSION is also ideal for use before going out into the sun. The high levels of natural moisturizing oils in this emulsion will keep the skin hydrated and moisturized for hours while you're out in the sun. But make sure you also apply a sunscreen before going outdoors!

DermaMedics recommends using a UVA/UVB  sunscreen with an SPF of 30. Higher SPF numbers provide litte increased benefit and may cause irritation.
